Ioanna Markou is the Founder and CEO of Hausrule, a board game publishing company focused on strategy-driven, story-rich experiences. With a background in Mathematics and education, she designs games where decisions matter, systems react, and players are trusted to think. She likes rules — especially what happens when you push them. Her philosophy is simple: It’s more than a game — live it.




Sotiris Drokalos
Project Manager & Game Designer
Sotiris Drokalos is the Project Manager at Hausrule and the designer behind Capital: 1929 – Wall Street. With a background in Economics, and experience as a sound engineer and ship captain, he brings a rare mix of analytical thinking, technical precision, and real-world leadership to every project. He approaches game design as a living system — balancing mechanics, tension, and player agency — while ensuring that each project stays on course from concept to production. For him, designing a game is much like navigating a vessel: you plan carefully, adjust to changing conditions, and trust the system you’ve built.
